Taneda Karate Dojo

Chris Taneda has been confirmed as a torch bearer for the 2010 Olympic torch relay. The local karate instructor will run a leg in Summerland on January 25th. His section will be on Prairie Valley Road to Barr St. at about 2:45 PM.

Taneda is the head coach of the Thompson/Okanagan karate team and will be just returning from the Karate BC Provincial Championships held on Jan23/24 in Vancouver.
